The Beginner reappeared later in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. According to its profile, the Beginner can increase its rider's chances of obtaining better items by netting them to its rider. It can be purchased at the shop for nine hundred Rings.
In Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, the Beginner is given a slight redesign, appearing more rectangular in shape, thicker and maintains its previous color scheme (though with a darker shade of green) and its yellow stripe. On its top surface, it has as well two circular silver-colored foot panels

The Beginner appeared once again in Sonic Free Riders. According to its profile, the Beginner is equipped with a safety device that makes it an easier ride to handle, especially for rookie Extreme Gear riders. It is unlocked after completing the basic tutorials.
In Sonic Free Riders, the Beginner's design returned to having a more board-like shape, along with having metal blue accents on the side of its corners and silver-colored circles and striations on its top surface, while otherwise retaining its green color scheme and trademark yellow stripe.

The Beginner appears again in Sonic Speed Simulator, consistently on sale for 10 Robux. Once unlocked, the Beginner can be used by any character, and essentially functions similarly to all other Extreme Gears in the game. The Beginner also has an in-game rarity of "Epic".
