Its islands lie east-northeast of the Santa Cruz Islands (which belong to the Solomon Islands), northeast of Vanuatu, southeast of Nauru, south of Kiribati, west of Tokelau, northwest of Samoa and Wallis and Futuna, and north of Fiji. Tuvalu is composed of three reef islands and six atolls. They are spread out between the latitude of 5° and 10° south and between the longitude of 176° and 180°. They lie west of the International Date Line. Tuvalu has a population of 10,507 (2017 census). The total land area of the islands of Tuvalu is 26 square kilometres (10 sq mi). The first inhabitants of Tuvalu were Polynesians, according to well-established theories regarding a migration of Polynesians into the Pacific that began about three thousand years ago. Long before European contact with the Pacific islands, Polynesians frequently voyaged by canoe between the islands. Polynesian navigation skills enabled them to make elaborately planned journeys in either double-hulled sailing canoes or outrigger canoes. Scholars believe that the Polynesians spread out from Samoa and Tonga into the Tuvaluan atolls, which then served as a stepping stone for further migration into the Polynesian outliers in Melanesia and Micronesia. |

Strategy
Make an electronic factory and buy copper and gold, once done sell five per AI nation. Get a destroyer or battleship. and justify on New Zealand, once done put the naval unit in the sea in the middle of the north and south island, and then take a city on the south island and kill the units with the naval unit, then take the rest of the cities, after that make a steel and motor factory. Afterwards start justifying on smaller islands using tanks. Once you have a large portion of the Oceania reigon you can start invading Central America and South East Asia. Using tanks with arid specialization you should invade
Australia and use boats to travel around since the large desert is hard to navigate through. Once you have Australia focus on your economy and start making Civilian Factories. These will help your stability but you can also sell them to other countries. Soon you should be able to take
Indonesia and
South Africa, which will help produce materials and also act as bases for you. Then you should start justifying on large african countries as well as
Brazil, from which you can invade larger countries such as the
United States from. From there, you should easily be able to take the rest of the world.
Trivia
- Tuvalu is the only country in Rise of Nations that is richer (in terms of treasury) than its actual real life counterpart.
