Bulgaria is a Tier III nation located in Southeast Europe .
Background
In the 600's the first Bulgarian state was formed. Later the First Bulgarian Kingdom would take over under the leader Tsar Simeon I from 893 to 927. This time is often called the Golden Age of Bulgaria. It was a time of prosperity, art, culture, education, and literature. However, this time did not last for too long as neighboring countries and empires would have an impact on Bulgaria for the next 1000 years.
First came the Byzantine Empire in 1018. Although, the Bulgarians would push back the Byzantines the Mongols would soon arrive, followed by the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire would rule for almost 500 years. They would not break free of the Ottomans until the late 1870s, following the Russo-Ottoman war.
Next would follow many wars including the Balkan Wars, World War 1, and World War 2. After WW2, Bulgaria was then occupied by the Red Army and became a communist nation and a satellite to the Soviet Union. After the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, and became a independent nation, and faced economic struggle and social unrest. On January 1, 2007 Bulgaria became a member of the European Union.

Politics
Formables
Bulgaria has three formables and one mission, these being:
Strategy
You should probably start by allying Russia, and other European countries at the start, but not any nations that are part of your formables (excluding the European Union). Allying
Turkey is also a good option, althought unlikely to happen. Use your 100M starting balance to make 1 Electronics, 1 Steel and 1 Motor factory. In the mean time, declare war on
Macedonia and send your starting 20k forces to Bitola. After the Macedonian forces are destroyed, send your remaining troops between Skopje and Tetovo, as you will be able to annex both cities in a shorter amount of time. Use the money you have gotten from
Macedonia to build 1 Fertilizer and 2 Civillian factories. While they are being built, make 600 Tanks in Sofia and justify war on
Greece and
Serbia. After your factories are done, declare on
Serbia and send your tanks in Niš. In the meantime, research Factory Output 2 and save the rest for Factory Output 3. By now, you should be making around 80-90 Consumer Goods. It is recommended that you sell half to one nation and the rest to another one, so if one trade goes down, you have a backup. After
Serbia capitulates, you can take
Greece, and by this time you can be formidable enough to fight Turkey. Assuming you annex Turkey & win, you can form
New Constantinople, and go from there.
Politics
Bulgaria's starting ideology is non-aligned. It's starting conscription law is volunteer.
