Saint Helena is a extremely isolated Tier I nation located in South Atlantic Ocean, continentially in Africa . It was introduced to the game on November 8th 2022.

Background

Saint Helena is a British overseas territory in Africa .

The island was first spotted by the Portuguese in May 15, 1502, and afterwards the British, where the island would become a stop for any ships sailing from Europe to the East Indies. The Dutch officially claimed the island, though it is not known if they ever occupied it or not, and their claim was made redundant after establishing their colony at the Cape of Good Hope.

In 1659, the East India Company occupied the island, where the British would since remain the island. Napoleon was also notably exiled to Saint Helena in 1815 until his death in 1821 due to its remoteness. Saint Helena was given some amount of self rule in 1966-67, which was replaced by a constitution in January of 1989, and another one was drafted in July 2009.

Strategy

Building a Maritime Empire

To start as a small island nation, like Saint Helena you first need to build an electronic factory on your only city, research factory output 1 & 2. If you can, try to go nationalism as it will decrease the time between wars. Now, justify war goal on Ghana and Gabon, you can do this because they are rarely seen being invaded and give you some economical benefits as well. Make sure you have taken 75% of the treasury of both countries. After you have successfully annexed them, make 2 additional electronic factories, 1 steel, 1 motor, 1 Fertilizer, and 3 civilian factories. it is recommended that you build a sustainable navy as it is important to defend from invaders as you expand. Next justify on Madagascar and Ivory Coast. Now, you should go on the limited conscription law and a obtain a substantial manpower reserve, but now you should focus on expanding your economy further by developing cities and building mines which substantially increase your resource and overall income in general. After this though, you can continue to invade wherever you want as you should be strong enough to do so and expand your grand Maritime Empire!

Threats

  • The United Kingdom wanting to form the British Empire.
  • An aggressive Nigeria wanting money, or to expand.
