Liberia is a small Tier II nation located on the continent of Africa .
It is a target to some European and African players as it produces a good amount of Iron, a component used for
Steel, as well as its neighbours, posing a great threat.
Liberia is rarely played, so you would be lucky to find one. A poorly managed Liberia could leave the country as a colony of a foreign power, whilst a well-managed Liberia could potentially form the African Union.
Background
Liberia is a country along the coast of western Africa. Liberia's terrain ranges from the low and sandy coastal plains to rolling hills and dissected plateau further inland. The country is home to a lush rainforest containing a rich diversity of flora and fauna. Liberia is the only African state which was never subjected to European colonial rule and is Africa's oldest republic, It was established on land acquired for freed US slaves by the American Colonization Society, which founded a colony at Cape Mesurado in 1821, In 1824 the territory was named Liberia, and its main settlement was named Monrovia, which is the present-day capital, Liberian independence was proclaimed in 1847, and its boundaries were expanded, The country enjoyed relative stability until a rebellion in 1989 escalated into a destructive civil war in the 1990s that did not fully cease until 2003. The country's first post-conflict elections, held in 2005, were noteworthy for the election of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to the presidency, as she was the first woman to be elected head of state in the nation.
Base Statistics
Economy
Liberia starts off weak, with an income of $205,808. $179,271 from tax and $26,537 from resources.
Resources
Liberia only produces 4 units of Iron every tick, which is extremely important as its neighbor
Sierra Leone produces 2 units of
Titanium. That means Liberia can make tanks in the early game, if it buys
Tungsten.

Geography
Terrain
Liberia is completely flat.
Biome
Liberia is entirely in the Jungle biome.
Borders
It borders Cote d'Ivoire,
Sierra Leone, and
Guinea.
Cities
Liberia has 10 cities, 6 of which are on the Coastline. Its capital is Monrovia. These core cities made up 1,287,786 people in total.
Formables
Liberia currently has 1 formable.
Politics
Liberia starts as the non-aligned ideology. It is recommended to switch to communism due to its massive factory buffs. Liberia starts with the volunteer conscription law.
Strategy
Liberia is weak but still capable of being a superpower.
First of all, build 3 Electronic Factories (Make more later to have a larger income) and justify on Sierra Leone and
Guinea. Switch to socialism for extra electronics output. After the factories are finished, buy the resources needed and sell most of the electronics to AI (keep some for Civilian Factories). Make Steel Factories and Motor Factories, and use the player's Home Guard to capture
Sierra Leone. Be sure to use AI Luring. Build Fertilizer Factories and then Civilian Factories to increase stability. Trade for any resources the player does not have. Make 800 tanks to invade
Guinea.
Invade small surrounding nations until you feel like the player is ready to take on Nigeria. If Nigeria is AI, the player is in luck and can just spam tanks. However, if Nigeria is a player, Liberia can choose to either expand elsewhere and come back later when they are stronger, or if they are confident enough, engage in a pvp battle with Nigeria immediately. If the latter is chosen, the player must make sure Nigeria is not a very skilled player. Pay attention to their playing style. If they enjoy spamming infantry and attacking entrenched AI home guards head-on, they are likely not a very good player. If so, build at least 10 tank divisions are split them into 4 groups. Move the tanks to the border with Nigeria and put artillery behind the tanks. Buy or produce aircraft parts and create at least 2 attackers. If the player is short on money, they can spam more electronic factories and sell the electronics. Research tank technology, and make sure the tanks are all entrenched. Declare war on Nigeria. They will likely spam lots of infantry and charge into the player's entrenched tanks. The tanks should easily defeat them. Once Nigeria stops spamming, wait for the tanks to reinforce themselves, and set all of them to auto-capture. Just like that, the player has conquered Nigeria.
Liberation
Now, you should be a Superpower or be in the top 10/5, with a lot of money and manpower. Develop cities and make a a lot of tanks, (a navy too if The USA is a player), once done, sell Electronics by making some electronic factories if you haven’t build some. Now, train the units until max. Make Aircraft to bomb their units, assist them with tanks/infantry if they have Anti-Aircraft, Justify on The
USA, attack Cuba or any other American nation, this will be useful for a Base of Operations. After taking a American nation, make tanks (infantry if there is no 1mil+ city at the nation you attacked), and develop. Now, if the justification is done and You are ready now, attack the
US, send the bombers/attackers in and bomb the troops, send in the tanks and infantry and take New York first, proceed on Washington and quickly blitzkrieg the south and east, put ships on the west and destroy their reinforcements there, now send a bunch of tanks to Alaska or peace out. Now, you have taken the
USA as
Liberia! (Get a Aircraft Carrier)
Invasion of Europe
Now that you annexed the USA, wait for the cities to cool down the unrest. Develop and make Recruitment Centers, and make a bunch of tanks in USA and the Maghreb since Europe has a lot of 1m+ cities. You can also research infantry mobility and attack and make infantry. Justify on France and
Portugal, use the tanks/infantry in the USA for France and tanks/infantry in
Morocco for Portugal. After the justification, declare war on these two and send the tanks/infantry into their land, take them and peace. Do this for the rest of the countries, and stop at
Russia if you are planning to attack the European part of them, by this time, attack
China and
Japan for tanks, infantry, and superiority over Siberia, but before making them, research the mobility of the infantry/tanks and then make them, train them to the max level and justify. Develop the cities in
China and
Japan once the unrest is down. Now, once the justification on
Russia is complete, attack them on April and focus on Siberia first, after attacking Siberia and completely taking it, get ready to siege Moscow on the west, use the tanks from The USA and The Maghreb to take the west of
Russia, once You have taken Moscow, auto-capture Russia until they collapse, and peace. Now you have captured Europe, Africa, and the USA! Now you are ready to dominate and take the world.
If you decided to Invade Europe First
First of all, develop all cities to Tier III. After build a massive navy and an aircraft carrier. make 2.000-5.000 tanks, the best way to land is in the Iberian Peninsula, after you captured the peninsula. you can try sweep through France and
Italy. after you sweep them both, you are basically too strong to be stopped.
Threats
Liberia has a few threats that include the following:
- The
United States conquering Liberia to use it as a base.
- Any nation willing to form the
African Union.
