Strategy
Slovakia struggles a lot when it comes to invading other countries as its income and population are very low when compared to the countries around it. The first thing the player should be doing as Slovakia is make 3 or 4 electronic factories and trade it to rich countries. The player should try to ally Germany so they don't invade and Poland too if it is a player. Invade the Czech Republic if Germany hasn't already taken it so the player can form Czechoslovakia. Continue taking small countries around the player, such as Hungary, Austria, and Ukraine if Russia isn't trying to form the Soviet Union/Russian Empire. If Germany has already taken Poland or wants to take it, it is best not to interfere with them, as they are far more powerful than the player. Otherwise, take Poland to form Zapadoslavia. From there the player should try and conquer all of the Balkan Nations. After that, invade the Baltics and Scandinavia (if Russia/Germany hasn't). From here on, the player should be fine defending themselves.
Defending Against Germany
If the player somehow drags themselves into a war with Germany, they can still defend. First, they must strategically use their terrain. The player should move their capital farther east, away from Germany and deep in the mountains. Then, the player should use all the manpower to create infantry and artillery. Infantry will gain a MASSIVE entrenchment boost in the mountainous terrain of Slovakia. Make sure to use that to the player's advantage. Artillery is great for defense in Slovakia's case because the mountainous terrain will slow German troops down, giving the artillery more time to bombard the enemy before the German troops reach it. If Germany tries to use planes to attack the player's troops, build anti-aircraft to destroy them. Try to get an ally like France to help out. When Germany gets enough losses, they would probably white peace Slovakia. Use the truce time to quickly expand so Germany doesn't invade the player ever again.
