This article is about Tuva. You may be looking for Tuvalu.
Tuva is a Tier I releasable of Russia located in North Asia
added in the March 29th 2023 update. It borders
Mongolia and
Russia by default, and, if released, it will also border the Russian releasables of
Siberia and
Buryatia.
Background
Tuva, or Tyva, is a federal subject of Russia inhabited by Tuvans, a Turkic ethnic group. Historically part of many Chinese dynasties as Tannu Uriankhai, following the Xinhai Revolution which overthrew the
Qing Dynasty, in 1911 Tuva declared independence, forming the Uriankhai Republic. In 1914, Tuva became a protectorate of the
Russian Empire, and in 1921, the Tuvan People's Republic, also known as Tannu Tuva, was established, becoming a puppet state of the new
Soviet Union, along with
Mongolia, which became independent around the same time. In 1944, Tuva was annexed by the Soviet Union and to this day is still part of
Russia as a republic.

Geography
Biome
Tuva has no biome for most of the year, but from November to December and February to March it has Mild Winter and from December to February it has Severe Winter.
Terrain
Tuva is entirely Mountainous, making it easy to defend especially during winter but also hard to move troops effectively.
Borders
Tuva borders either Russia or
Siberia and
Buryatia depending on if the latter two are also released from
Russia. It also borders
Mongolia.
Threats
Russia retaking you. (VERY RARE)
Siberia annexing you to form the
United States of North Asia. (RARE)
China annexing you to form the
Qing Dynasty. (UNCOMMON)
Mongolia conquering collapsed
Russia, including Tuva to form the
Mongol Empire
Buryatia conquering your only core city Kyzyl to form the
Sacred Union of Shambhala. (LEGENDARY)
Strategy
If you are playing as Tuva, it is most likely that Russia has collapsed, meaning neighbouring releasables are available to be conquered. It is recommended to invade your neighbor Buryatia, As they are not as big, This will add to your current
Copper reserve which will be useful when making
Electronics. Once you have conquered and annexed
Buryatia, You should begin by constructing one or two Electronic Factories. This will require
Gold so make sure to buy some. While buying
Gold, Do not worry if you go into a small deficit as you will be able to sell your
Electronics once the factory is built, Which should save you.
Invading Mongolia
Before invading Mongolia, I would recommend getting Military Doctrines, Get massed attack or else it will be hard to make any troops without running out of Manpower, To counter the starting experience, Train your troops and get a Military Leader and a General of the Army. When invading
Mongolia you should use your new income to make more troops in order to defeat the Mongolian Homeguard of 20k. Once you have annexed
Mongolia it is recommended to invade
Siberia or
Yakutia for resources and significant land area. Now you can take it from here, building Civilian Factories to make
Consumer Goods.
