Chad

Chad is a Tier II nation located in Central Africa .

Background

Archaeologists believe that the northern area of Chad was settled as long ago as 6000 BC. There are archaeological sites in the Borkou, Ennedi, and Tibesti areas that date back to 2000 BC. The earliest civilization was the Sao. The Sao were overtaken later by the Kanem Empire, which went on to become the strongest empire formed in the area of modern-day Chad.

Europeans arrived in Chad in the late 1800s and the French Empire began to take control in the early 1900s. In 1920 the French fully colonized Chad, making it part of the French Equatorial Africa, also called the AEF. Chad remained a colony for many years until it gained independence on August 11, 1960. The first president of Chad was Francis Tombalvaye, who was lead of the main political party, the PPT.

Unfortunately, the history of Chad has since been marred by constant civil war and unrest.

However, Chad's capital Ndjamena will become a square city in less than a year due to population growth.

Chad starts with a manpower cap of 60,000, with a manpower gain of 264. Chad's starting Conscription Law is volunteer.

In other words, Chad is One of the OP nations In Africa behind Egypt and Nigeria.

Threats

Formables

Chad has three formables:

Strategy

First, build an electronic, steel, motor, and fertilizer factory. Justify on the CAR and Niger. Get a general to get your home guard to be as powerful as possible. Research factory output and sell electronics to support your economy. Declare on CAR first and justify on South Sudan and Burkina Faso next. Get consumer factories as soon as possible. Ndjamena will become a square city very fast so don't make infantry, just wait for tanks. Invade Niger with your tanks and invade West Africa for more manpower and money. Keep invading West Africa until you're ready to invade Nigeria. Invade Cameroon before Nigeria so you can form Kanem Empire immediately after Nigeria falls. After Nigeria is done, your manpower will increase much faster. Invade the required stuff for the United States of Latin Africa. Then, invade South Africa for much more population, resources, and square cities. Then just keep invading countries until you form African Union. Forming the African Union will grant you the Rebel Skin. If Nigeria is a player, you're most likely dead. Beg, plead, make unfunny chad jokes, just try as hard as you can to prevent Nigeria from invading in the early game. A good unit to make for defense is aircraft, as they are the most powerful while also cheap enough that your nation can handle. Have fun!
