Georgia (Georgian: საქართველო) is a Tier II nation located in Caucasus which is itself a region of Asia 
and Europe 
It borders 
Russia to the north, 
Azerbaijan to the southeast, 
Armenia to the south, and 
Turkey to the southwest.
Background
Georgia is a country in the Caucasus region, at the intersection of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. It is bounded to the west by the Black Sea, to the north and east by Russia, to the south by Turkey and Armenia, and to the southeast by Azerbaijan. The capital and largest city is Tbilisi. Georgia covers a territory of 69,700 square kilometres (26,911 sq mi), and its approximate population is about 3.718 million. Georgia is a unitary parliamentary republic, with the government elected through a representative democracy.
Georgia is a developing country classified as "very high" on the Human Development Index. The country is a member of international organizations across both Europe and Asia, such as the Council of Europe, the Asian Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Eurocontrol, OSCE and the GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development.

Strategy
Being Georgia is very tough. You are needed for both of Russia's formables. Luckily, Russia usually doesn't focus on you, Armenia and Azerbaijan early on, so you can form Transcaucasia or the 
Kingdom of Georgia and create fortifications to protect yourself from Russia. Artillery is recommended and tanks would also help immensely. The entrenchment boost from your mountains, and the semi-mountainous and hilly terrains of Armenia and Azerbaijan will give you an entrenchment boost allowing you to defend yourself easier.
Another way is forming Transcaucasia or Kingdom of Georgia after allying Russia, Turkey, and sometimes China. If this manages to work you basically have international immunity. Once forming expand into the Stan countries, first with Turkmenistan and expanding into the ones China does not want. From there when China eventually invades Russia use this as your advantage and Collab with China to take your piece of Russia. There you can invade European nations and expand into the Middle East
