Albania is a Tier II nation located in Southeastern Europe 
, more specifically the Balkans.
It is located on the Adriatic and Ionian Sea within the Mediterranean Sea, and shares land borders with Montenegro to the northwest, 
Kosovo to the northeast, 
Macedonia to the east, 
Greece to the south; and maritime borders with 
Serbia, 
Montenegro and 
Italy to the west. Tirana is its capital and largest city, followed by Durrës, Vlorë and Shkodër.
History
Historically, Albania has been inhabited by numerous civilizations such as the Illyrians, Thracians, Ancient Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Venetians and Ottomans. The Albanians established the autonomous Principality of Arbër in the 12th century. The Kingdom of Albania and Principality of Albania formed between the 13th and 14th centuries. Prior to the Ottoman conquest of Albania in the 15th century, the Albanian resistance to Ottoman expansion into Europe led by Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg won them acclaim over most of Europe. Between the 18th and 19th centuries, cultural developments, widely attributed to Albanians having gathered both spiritual and intellectual strength, conclusively led to the Albanian Renaissance. After the defeat of the Ottomans in the Balkan Wars, the modern nation state of Albania declared independence in 1912. In the 20th century, the Kingdom of Albania was invaded by the 
Italian Empire (Kingdom of Italy) which formed Greater Albania before becoming a protectorate of Nazi Germany. Enver Hoxha formed Communist Albania after World War II and launched the Albanians on a path of oppression and decades of isolation. The Revolutions of 1991 concluded the fall of communism in Albania and eventually the establishment of the current Republic of Albania.

Strategy
Albania is a difficult country to play, as it is required for the formables of 
Turkey, Greece and all expansionist Balkan countries and is also being targeted by many other expansionist countries. However, it has a good foundation for becoming a feared country.
First of all, you have to justify war 
Croatia and 
Bosnia and Herzegovina. Meanwhile, build troops, an electronics factory and recruitment centers, then develop. Declare war on Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, 
Hungary and 
Romania. 
Bulgaria and Greece weren't mentioned, however, as they will likely be annexed by Turkey. It continues to develop cities and build recruitment centers there, and then colonize Africa/South America to compensate for both the lack of population and lack of resources.
If Italy or Greece seems intent on annexing you, prepare the Submarines and ships, build the fortifications and use the numerous cities to entrench your troops and artillery. You could even reverse the situation with Greece, while with Italy you could wait for the intervention of an allied country. There is nothing you can do if Turkey wants to declare war on you. If Turkey attacks you while you are unprepared, you are practically dead, but even if you are fortified you will not be able to do anything else.

Balkan Federation. - Italy trying to form the
Roman Empire, or generally, expanding in the Balkans, not to mention that Albania is usually on of the first Balkan countries that Italy invades. Italy may also form the Italian Empire. - Turkey expanding in Europe and forming the
Ottoman Empire. 
Slovenia may want to form 
Illyria.- Any Europe nations trying to forming the
European Union. - Serbia trying to form the
Serbian Empire
