Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is a Tier III nation located in Africa. Zimbabwe borders Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique and South Africa.

Zimbabwe is a nation that has very strong potential. It has one of the largest reserves of gold and chromium, and has a square city allowing it to build tanks, which can lead to expansion extremely quickly. However, since few people play as the nation and South Africa can easily take over them, it often doesn't work out.

Strategy

Starting Moves

When playing Zimbabwe, you want to first make sure that you have a strong economy as well as tanks to absorb your neighbors as fast as possible.

  1. First, you want to create 2 electronic factories, you dont need to buy any gold, however you will need to buy some copper to sustain these factories. Once these factories are finished, you want to sell the 32 electronics you get to AI, such as the Japan or India.
  2. You will want to create motor and steel factories as they will provide you the materials needed to produce tanks. Make sure to buy the materials needed to upkeep these factories.
  3. Go to doctrines and then switch to Massed Attack, as you will need lots of manpower to spam troops.
  4. Enact the press censorship policy and then switch your taxes to high as well as raise government spending to low. Pressing censorship will grant you the stability to raise your taxes, and these extra taxes can pay for government spending, which gives a variety of benefits you'll need such as reduced war exhaust and extra political power.

Forming the Kingdom of Mutapa

  1. Justify conquest on Zambia and Mozambique, as you will need to attack them for your formable. Create 1,200 tanks as well.
  2. Wait for your justifications to finish, and split your tanks up in two.
  3. Attack both at the same time.
  4. Send 600 tanks to both nations and use AI luring to wipe out their armies.
  5. Once their home guard is taken out, split up your tanks and set them to auto-capture (specifically, capture all on auto-capture).
  6. Once both countries are finished, peace them out for all their land and form the Kingdom of Mutapa!

There are many possibilities for Zimbabwe besides forming the Kingdom of Mutapa, don't end your ambitions simply on conquering two nations!
