Saskatchewan is a releasable from Canada that is located in North America
. It was added on November 8th, 2022. It also is considered as the weakest Canadian releaseable due to its low population.
Background
Saskatchewan is a province in western Canada, bordered on the west by Alberta, on the north by the Northwest Territories, on the east by Manitoba, to the northeast by Nunavut, and on the south by the U.S. states of Montana and North Dakota. Saskatchewan and Alberta are the only landlocked provinces of Canada. Nearly 10% of Saskatchewan’s total area of 651,900 square kilometres (251,700 sq mi) is fresh water, mostly rivers, reservoirs and lakes.
Saskatchewan has been inhabited for thousands of years by indigenous groups. Europeans first explored the area in 1690 and first settled in the area in 1774. It became a province in 1905, carved out from the vast North-West Territories, which had until then included most of the Canadian Prairies. In the early 20th century, the province became known as a stronghold for Canadian social democracy; North America's first social-democratic government was elected in 1944. The province's economy is based on agriculture, mining, and energy.

Strategy
As Canada, liberate all your releasables via
Saint Pierre and Miquelon and hop to Saskatchewan. As Saskatchewan, try allying with the
United States if they are a player, and if they decline, it is best to start ramping up defenses such as entrenching troops on cities, but it's still classed as inferior and unprotective. If the
United States does accept the alliance, continue with your playthrough and justify
Alberta and
Cascadia. While waiting, build Recruitment Centers, set ideology to socialism, and during optional circumstances, convert doctrine to Massed Attack to maximize manpower income. Once you have unlocked the set budget, construct factories and sell
Consumer Goods for profit.
After, the only country you can invade is Alberta if the
United States has not taken it already. If the they own all of
Canada, try offering a deal to for ceding. Invade the Caribbean nations, Central America, and once powerful enough, invade South America
, by escorting troops through the
United States. Take the small islands to gradually increase your treasury, whilst developing cities.
Once confident enough to invade United States, start preparing by fortifying then entrenching infantry (tanks preferably trained with Winter Specialization) on major cities, and conscript aircraft. Before declaring war on the
United States, spawn an Aircraft Carrier in the Great Lakes, along with support ships to protect the carrier, using a mixture of destroyer, battleship, and submarine. As a combination of the powerful fleet, it will sustain major losses against them, which will raise war exhaustion to the opponent. Aim for their major metropolitan cities, using large divisions, as well as bombing their capital.
After capitulation, peace the United States by seizing their treasury and resources, then immediately start building consumer factories, due to a major population bump which will lead to a consumer deficit. Once the unrest has cooled down, attempt to relocate or build more factories on major cities.
From this point on, you should now be a North American superpower, you can choose to expand overseas or stay and dominate the continent, good luck!
