Background
Shandong is a province located in eastern China, with its capital in Jinan. It is situated on the eastern coast of China, bordered by the Yellow Sea to the east and the Bohai Sea to the north. Shandong has a population of over 100 million people as of 2020, making it the second most populous province in China.
Shandong is known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, as well as its beautiful natural scenery. The province is home to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Mount Tai, which is considered one of the Five Sacred Mountains of China, and the Confucius Temple, Cemetery and Family Mansion in Qufu.
