Manchuria

Manchuria is one of the 22 Chinese releasables and is located in Northeast China. Its territory consists of the three Chinese provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin, and Liaoning, and it borders Russia and the Chinese province of Southern Mongolia to the north, North Korea to the south, and the core territory of China (within Beijing/Hebei) to the southwest.

This releasable is usually played by new players who found themselves in a late server or people who found a server where China was liberated/collapsed.

A well-managed Manchuria could conquer half of Asia or unite China, a poorly managed Manchuria would just be annexed by Japan or Russia.

Background

Manchuria is a historical region in northeast Asia encompassing the entirety of present-day northeast China and parts of the modern-day Russian Far East. The exact geographical extent varies depending on the definition: in the narrow sense, the area constituted by three Chinese provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin, and Liaoning as well as the eastern Inner Mongolian prefectures of Hulunbuir, Hinggan, Tongliao, and Chifeng; in a broader sense, historical Manchuria includes those regions plus the Amur river basin, parts of which were ceded to the Russian Empire by the Manchu-led Qing dynastyduring the Amur Annexation of 1858–1860. The parts of Manchuria ceded to Russia are collectively known as Outer Manchuria or Russian Manchuria, which include present-day Amur Oblast, Primorsky Krai, the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, the southern part of Khabarovsk Krai, and the eastern edge of Zabaykalsky Krai.

Threats

List includes:

Politics

Manchuria at the start of the game has 500 Political Power at the start of the game, allowing any choice for Policy, Ideology, Conscription Laws.

Fascism

This is good if you wanted to unite China and expand quickly.

Communism

This is good for a strong Manpower source as well as Factory production which will help you with making Tanks, Consumer Goods, and Aircraft Parts.

Democracy

This is good if you wanted to make Manchuria a economic powerhouse, produce lots of money and become a peaceful nation.

Strategy

Before playing as Manchuria, you must be China. It is highly recommended to build all sorts of factories in the Manchuria and develop the Manchurian region 3 times before releasing it. After you released Manchuria and other States give your money and manpower to Manchuria to have a fresh start.

Build Theses

4 Electronic Factories: 8 Gold and Copper

Steel Factories: 1 Titanium and 4 Iron

Motor Factories: 2 Tungsten

Fertilizer Factories: 4 Phosphate

Civilian factories

Aircraft Factories: 2 Titanium, 2 Chromium, 2 Aluminum

Airport

Do not buy the resources required as China, as your giving free resources for China.

Uniting China

As soon you become Manchuria, buy all the resources you need to supply your factories. Your goal here is to speedrun uniting china. Make 2.000 Tanks to invade, Don't split to 200 tanks on each division to invade Anhui. Instead split it into 600 Tanks on each division and annex it. If Shanxi is a player focus on them, since you have Tanks. you have a advantage against them after your justification is complete immidiently get Wuhan and hold it, Make new tanks to support your invasion in Shanxi. and then auto-capture, Shanxi would probably left. so you're good. You can also try taking Tibet and Mongolia to reinstate the great Qing Dynasty.

The Qing Strikes Back

After you do this, you can now quite easily expand outside China. Your biggest threat is Japan, so justify on it and build a navy. after you destroyed its navy (If it actually is a player, which is common), You can land in their homeland and invade them. but keep your navy to destroy any army that Japan is building, after you annexed it. Justify on Vietnam and Cambodia, Your Main goal would be expanding to Southeast Asia to gain more power. after you successfully annexed parts of Southeast Asia, You could try annexing India. You would need an air force and a navy to beat India if its controlled by a player, Do not invade through the Himalayas as your army will die of attrition and mountain terrain. Instead either go through Burma or land in a city in east India, after you annexed India you're, in all practicality, invincible. You could try invading Russia, But its better to get your infantry researched to invade Russia.

If Japan or Korea is seizing you

If its Korea seizing you, look at what country they're playing as. if its North Korea, You could try capital sniping them and hold till they wish for peace. if its South Korea, a Navy is needed to destroy the army in Seoul. you need at least 2.000 Tanks to Capital snipe South Korea, After you capital sniped the South Korean player. They either leaves/sue for peace/doesn't give up, if they don't give up, you would still win due how many cities Korea has left.

Japanese - Manchu war

If Japan has a navy, quickly build a navy that is capable of fighting the Japanese Navy. If you beat their navy, then try push into Korea and the Homeland of Japan. After you landed in their homeland, Try occupying the important cities of theirs. After you get Osaka or their Capital. Try and hold for a stalemate till you can get a big enough army to invade, or wait for them to leave.

War Against China

If its China trying to reclaim you, make absolute sure you push them back for as long as possible. Since China has cores on your cities, China can utilize them against YOU, via making troops and tanks within them. You should focus on getting help from Russia, Japan, or any other Chinese warlord states (Especially Shanxi) if things are getting hectic or are not going your way. If you have a navy or airforce, you should bomb the hell out of Beijing to lower their stability by a long shot. Hell, bomb all Chinese cities if you have to. Once the time is right, capital snipe, and blaze your way through China.

Controversies

Manchuria's flag is highly controversial, as the flag currently used ingame is the one used by Manchukuo, a puppet state of the Empire of Japan that occupied all of Manchuria.
