Romandie

Romandie is a releasable of Switzerland, It is located in Central Europe , And was added on February 7th, 2023.

Background

Romandie is the French speaking part of Switzerland that encompasses the western part of the country. Romandie includes the Swiss cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Neuchâtel, Jura, and Fribourg. These cantons are primarily French speaking. Romandie has strong ties to France culturally and historically, as shown by it’s flag. The region was settled by the Burgundians who came from eastern France, and French influence has remained strong ever since.

Compared to the rest of Switzerland, Romandie has a more Latin/French culture with influences from art, food, architecture, and lifestyle. There is a stronger emphasis on things like wine, cheese, and cuisine in general. The western part of Switzerland has been French-speaking since the Middle Ages. However, it did not officially become part of Switzerland until the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

Some of the major cities in Romandie include Geneva, Lausanne, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Sion, and Montreux. Many people in Romandie live in urban areas, especially along Lake Geneva. Even though the state has a history related to things such as French culture, it has been part of Switzerland for a couple centuries and shares many aspects of Swiss culture as well.

Strategy

As Switzerland create the factories you need on the cities that will soon be Romandie. 2 electronics, 1 motor, and steel are recommended, but you could make any combination you wish. Justify liberation on Liechtenstein, then concede terms to release Romandie as soon as possible. Buy resources and start selling electronics/consumers to get a decent eco. Make tanks and justify war on Switzerland to speedrun forming the Helvetic republic.
