Background
Bavaria is one of the oldest states in Europe dating right back to the 6th century. From the Middle Ages up to the beginning of the 19th century, Bavaria was a powerful and mighty state first under the reign of the Guelph dynasty and later, under the Wittelsbachs.
Cities such as Regensburg developed into spiritual and economic centers of European importance. After the Thirty Years' War, the Electorate of Bavaria had an important role amongst the great political players of the time.
Bavaria was a kingdom for over 100 years, from January 1, 1806 to November 8, 1918. The six Bavarian kings reigned as constitutional monarchs. The first Bavarian monarch, Max Joseph I, owed his royal status to an alliance with the French emperor Napoleon I.
In the wake of the First World War, events in Bavaria were first determined by a socialist republic, until a constitution with parliamentary democracy came into force in 1919. Under the National Socialists, Bavaria lost its independence as a state, and was split into multiple Gaue (states).
On 1 December 1946, a constitution for the Free State of Bavaria was adopted by referendum, establishing the semi-independence of Bavaria as a state in the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany.)

Strategy (WIP)
The player should start by negotiating alliances with nearby countries to defend Bavaria whilst the player builds the country up. As the economy is not big, take the "Improve Infrastructure" policy as it will make building factories cheaper and faster. Build 2-3 electronic factories, 1 motor factory, and 1 steel factory. Immediately afterwards, buy the resources needed for the factories. This will give you access to a larger income and tanks. At this point, the player should have one or two allies, if the server is relatively new. If one of these allies has access to a coastline, the player should attempt to colonize elsewhere to bolster manpower gain and to make the country stronger. You can also research factory output, hire a few leaders and sell consumer goods to massively boost your economy.
