Hayate (疾風?) is one of the songs that originated from pop'n music 20 fantasia. It was one of the three special songs that were part of the Kimi mo★Pop'n Character Designer! (キミも★ポップンキャラクターデザイナー！?) contest. After that contest came to a close, 疾風 became one of the songs that was part of pop'n music 20 fantasia's INTERNET RANKING category during Week 1 of INTERNET RANKING #1 (January 4th to 11th, 2012).
The song received an EASY chart in pop'n music Sunny Park, replacing its old 5-Buttons chart. Afterwards, it was re-rated in pop'n music うさぎと猫と少年の夢 on March 29, 2017.
In pop'n music Lively, 疾風 is one of the downloadable songs that are part of the pop'n music Lively Music Pack vol.4 (pop'n music Lively 楽曲パック vol.4?), since November 25, 2021.

I created this song for the public character contest, right?
There were no plans to somehow include it in the location tests for 20 at all.
Yeah. None. Nothing.
It seems strong, but it's cute! Raizou is in charge of this song.
This hot and busy song is reminiscent of a battle.
For this composition, I thought of 2 out of Raizou's 10 ninja arts, that's why there are sections which have an image of "time-space manipulation" and "flying Musa basjoo"!
Do you know where they are?
Well, Raizou is a rabbit character like Mimi, but he has a different type of cuteness!
It's worth looking at his LOSE animation.
Every time I see him on the screen while playing, I say "Raizou's cute!" out loud.
I also say "Raizou's great!".
With such feeling, let's welcome Raizou together, who looks big, but has a strong attitude of service.

Eventually, I remember having a battle between DUCT's "Rin".
That's why I selfishly fantasize them fighting even in the animation.

Initially, PON's song was planned to appear in the location test, but finally after half a year, we could deliver it to everyone.
In the EX charts, the scales start from white, and continue from left and right.
Its movements are like a baseball fist, right?
Well, I thought its genre name was "STRIKE", so I see, is it related to baseball? I was impressed that PON also thought~ about it too, but it's completely different.
The song title and sample is also available, and the applied characters seemed to have a similar direction, but nevertheless, they show individuality and are interesting.

From the moment I saw this competition entry, I immediately said Raizou "seems fun to move!".
Furthermore, I enjoyed making the animations, as we invited many lovely guest characters.
First, I received PON's song, then Saback's illustrations, and I expanded the image and made animations from that, then PON saw them and thought of ninjutsu... it always feels like this, but pop'n characters are gradually born and raised from various people's ideas.
I'd be happy if everyone experiences the excitement of working together to create a game with Mintsuku 20~. Thank you to everyone who participated, watched, and played at the store!

I enjoyed the public character contest.
Since this is an instrumental song, I looked forward to seeing what kinds of images came to your mind from the music.
The speedy feeling comes from the rhythm and tempo.
The faint Japanese taste comes from the melody.
The "fighting"-style comes from the genre name. Even in the melody, there's some fight happening.
Meanwhile, the fluffy rabbit ninja applicant met all the requirements. It's good. The rabbit's good.
By the way, the kind of character I thought about if I applied was NEUTRINO MAN, who emphasized a speedy feeling, and was rumored to be the fastest in the world back then. NEUTRINO MAN is fast. Too fast, that no one can see it.
