- "Creating resemblance of the galaxy's planet, the sounds of progressive rock are really spectacular!"
- ―Music Comment[1]
Polaris is a song that debuted in BEMANI's 2008 game, Jubeat (game)|jubeat. The song crossed-over to pop'n music 17 THE MOVIE and became one of the song unlocks from Stage 5 of the Dai Ikkai Pop'n Eiga Matsuri (第1回 ポップン映画祭?) event. It could be unlocked from May 27th to July 8th, 2009.
Polaris has its charts readjusted throughout the titles released later. The EASY chart replaced its 5-Button chart in pop'n music Sunny Park, and later on, it was tweaked in pop'n music éclale on March 22nd, 2016.
On April 26, 2023, Polaris is added to pop'n music Lively as one of the downloadable songs from the jubeat Selection Music Pack vol.1 (ユビートセレクション 楽曲パック vol.1?).

- A rearrangement of Polaris, titled Polaris (Album Version) and featuring Hiroshi Hosokawa, appears on Mutsuhiko Izumi's third album, Third.
Trivia
- Polaris is the first song originally from the jubeat series to crossover into another BEMANI series (pop'n music).
Song Production Information[1][2]
After the minor-styled techno song "Snow Goose", "Polaris" was created from the simple idea of "this time, let's make a major-styled rock song".
This melody wouldn't be strange if it was included in GITADORA, right?
It's a fusion of hard rock and orchestra.
I love the strings and horn sounds in orchestras.
I used glockenspiel to give it a gorgeous sound.

It's a refreshing sound! This song is guaranteed to make you feel cheerful!
And it feels like I can train my upper arms... I'm looking forward to trying my best.
PON
It's a progressive rock with a magnificent image.
Come to think of it, during production, I fondly remember coming up with the idea of its genre name, since it was a crossover from jubeat.
When I played this song, during the solo part, I shouted "Izumi-saaaaaaaaaaan!!".
I did the same with Tamayura.
When you listen to that hot solo part, you'll naturally scream, right?!
オオツ
Will the day come when I can go to a universe where my dreams expand?
Come to think of it, a few years ago, wasn't there was a campaign called "space travel present"?
What happened to that? Did they go?

The sounds are gorgeous, and this is also a fun song to play. I remember looking at the beautiful, shining blue jubeat cabinet at an arcade, and I loved it. I wonder if the genre name is a carnival where stars shine in the galaxy? PON, nice naming.
For the illustrations, I love the Ametori comet form. The jubeat team provided us with the jacket illustration, but even though it was a very beautiful illustration, it was almost destroyed when used as a background.... at least I tried increasing the shiny filters. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the BEMANI team for their cooperation in crossing over this song.

I've been playing jubeat quite a bit since it was released, but it doesn't feel as if I'm improving.
It's like newlyweds from long ago having a nervous breakdown, and I like it. If you're here, will you be here next time? It feels like that.
It doesn't seem to match the sensitivities of the chart creator, so it's mostly wrong. It seemed like a YESNO pillow.
Come to think of it, during THE MOVIE location test observation, we had nothing to do, so those involved in BEMANI showed off their true abilities! And I lined up to play jubeat.
I usually failed in the first stage.
Speaking of jubeat, I had to think of a song that I wanted to crossover from it! I considered the representative song among representative songs, "Snow Goose", but it had a critical phrase that broke the game's interface. If I recreate that here, it'd be Level 45.

It finally appeared here from jubeat! Did you notice the jubeat logo in the song select screen? Try and choose this song from the BEMANI category.
Is this the first crossover song from jubeat into another BEMANI game? Or is it just my imagination?
Please feel the microcosm while being captivated by the constant guitar. In the cosmos.
wac and I were increasing worried about what to choose for its movie genre, in addition to adding the usual song genre, "what's Polaris?", "the North Star.", "huh~. (I'll look it up a bit) What is it, what is it? Polaris isn't a specific star, but a constellation of stars that happens to always face the north, and changes for decades and centuries!? Huh~.", "well, a celestial adventure is nice, right?", "yes, that's right." And well, that's how it was decided.
A jubeat cabinet was placed in the office, and we played it together last summer (※let's all read it in an elementary school graduation ceremony style)
WASYA from the IIDX team recommended the chicken marker to me, saying "chickens are easy to see, chickens", and I said "I can't believe it" while playing and seeing it easily, so now I'm a chicken member. Thank you WASYA! I'm probably in the minority!
Of course, I can clear Polaris... huh? The frame color changed? Huh? ADVANCED?
EXTREME? Gah!
