"Incoming new mysterious enemy!"
―Beginning of Wave 32 (Golden & Fallen)

Description

The Uber Mystery was a mysterious enemy that was quite fast, having nearly the same speed as the Quick, but it also had low health for its debut. However, its low health was not to be mistaken for weakness as the Uber Mystery spawned very strong enemies upon its death.

Upon death it spawned either Molten, Dark Necromancer, Golden, Shock, Charge, Slow Boss, Hidden Boss, Speedy Boss, Abnormal Boss, Shadow Boss, Chained Boss or Giant Boss.

In Polluted Wasteland, it spawned the Amalgamation instead of the Giant Boss and the Wasted Boss instead of the Abnormal Boss.

The Uber Mystery used to appear in Golden and Fallen modes. It was replaced by the Mystery Boss.

Appearance

The Uber Mystery was a translucent, glossy red enemy with a glowing yellow question mark on its torso. It had a drooling zombie face and yellow glowing eyes.

Strategy

  • Like other mystery enemies, you should be prepared to deal with the enemies that spawn from an Uber Mystery, with the Amalgamation being the deadliest in Polluted Wasteland and the Giant Boss being the deadliest on any other map.
  • Since the Uber Mystery itself is quite fast, and the fact that it can spawn extremely fast enemies (such as Shock and Charge), a Pyromancer is recommended to slow them down.
  • The Rocketeer and Mortar are recommended to defeat hordes of Uber Mysteries as they normally spawn close to each other.
    • However, be aware that the Uber Mystery can spawn the Golden, which cannot be damaged by splash damage towers.
  • The enemies that spawn from the Uber Mystery do not need to be killed for wave progression to occur.
    • If you are speedrunning a map, you should focus on killing the Uber Mysteries first before moving onto the enemies that spawn.

Trivia

  • The Uber Mystery was similar to the Super Mystery as they could spawn enemies that did not normally appear in Golden or Fallen modes.
  • The Uber Mystery was quite similar in appearance to the first version of the Mystery 2 which in turn, was similar to the Mystery2 from Tower Battles.
  • The question mark on the Uber Mystery is a re-textured version of the Question Mark accessory from the Roblox catalog.
