Description

The Gravekeeper was considered to be the first major boss of the game to appear. It was the final enemy that appeared in Easy mode.

The Gravekeeper walked slower than the Slow Boss but had far higher health compared to the Slow Boss. It could spawn 4-8 Tombstones which needed to be destroyed. These Tombstones could have spawned Normals, Slows, Hiddens and Normal Bosses. It also had the ability to smash its hammer into the ground, creating a shockwave which stunned nearby towers.

Appearance

The Gravekeeper had green skin, a grey torso, wore a grey cloak with sleeves and had dark green legs. The Gravekeeper also had a chain wrapped around its torso, a black hood, and one red eye (the other was covered by an eye patch). The Gravekeeper also wielded a giant rusty hammer and had a Tombstone on its back.

Strategy

  • The Freezer's Ice Drop ability can handle the two Gravekeepers that spawn on wave 55.
  • Commanders can be used to boost high DPS towers such as the Minigunner and Turret.
  • Towers near the path are vulnerable to the Hammer Smash. Try to locate towers away from the path, if possible.
  • The Tombstones the Gravekeeper spawns may cause a problem if no towers can reach them. Locate a tower near them, or rely on Military Base units or crooks from the Crook Boss to clear them up.
  • Multiple Outlaws can be used against this as it has long range and high damage.

Trivia

  • There was a glitch where you could place a tower on the body of the Gravekeeper when it was killed, allowing for more towers to be placed on maps like Doomspire where placement space was limited.
  • As with the other major bosses at the time, towers will fire on the Gravekeeper for a few seconds after its death.
  • The eyepatch used by the Gravekeeper is the Eyepatch accessory from the Roblox catalog.
