Description
The Pawn was the second enemy to appear in Failed Gateway as part of the Hexscape Event. It had fairly average health and speed, occasionally appearing with the Bloated and Tank attributes.
Appearance
The Pawn was a wooden construct with a brown body. It had dark brown short parts that were also torn, alongside two bandoliers on its torso. It wore multiple pieces of brown and grey armor, which consisted of shoulder-pads, elbow-pads and knee-pads, all with spikes. It also had a metal head piece with wires and a lens on its head.
Strategy
- Pawns are weak enemies that can be dealt with by a majority of early game towers, such as the Crook Boss, Golden Soldier and Brawler.
- As they spawn in groups, towers that can damage multiple enemies at once are effective against them.
- In Hard mode, some Pawns will spawn with the Tank attribute.
- Towers with a fast firerate like the Minigunner can be used to deal with this.
- Units' collision damage is a great way to deal with Tank Pawns. Similarly, the Trapper's traps will deal heavy damage to them.
