This article is about Speedy King. You may be looking for Speedy, Speedy Boss or Quick.

Description

The Speedy King is a large and fast enemy that only appears in Hardcore mode. For its debut, it has high health and fast speed. It has an ability where upon death, it can make surrounding enemies faster, if there are any enemies in a certain proximity. This speed-boost affects Boss enemies like the Fallen Swordmaster.

The Speedy King can be spawned by the Void Reaver. The Mystery Boss can spawn the Speedy King in Hardcore mode, from wave 44 onwards.

Appearance

The current Speedy King is identical to its original version, except it has two slanted lines perpendicular to each other as its face.

The original Speedy King looked similar to the Speedy Boss's third version and fourth version appearance. It had light blue skin and wore reflective blue shoulder-pads and arm-pads. Its torso and legs were dark blue granite. It wore blue boots with white socks, a slightly slanted blue crown, symbolizing royalty, and a dark blue cape. Blue electricity can be seen emitted from its legs and arms. It was faceless.

Strategy

  • The Military Base's units can be effective against the Speedy King as it can escape the range of towers before it can be killed.
  • High DPS towers, such as Accelerator, Ranger, Turret, and Minigunner are recommended to kill it.
  • The Freezer, Frost Blaster and Sledger cannot freeze or slow down the Speedy King, as it has freeze immunity.
    • Stalling towers such as the Warden and Trapper's bear traps can only slow down the Speedy King, instead of completely stopping its movement while knockback towers cannot knock it back.
      • Additionally, the Warden can only slow down the Speedy King for a short amount of time due to its large size.
  • Upon death, the Speedy King can speed up other enemies around it with its Charge ability.
    • This makes it a very big threat, especially if a major boss such as the Fallen Swordmaster is present.
    • The Speedy King often spawns in groups and alongside the Circuit, increasing the number of enemies that can speed up other enemies.
