Molten Demon

Description

The Molten Demon is an enemy that appears in Molten and Mid Rank PVP Test modes, though never naturally. It can only be summoned by the Molten Necromancer, which can also apply various attributes to it while summoning it, including Bloated, Nimble, Hidden or none.

Appereance

The Molten Demon has a light red skin, with a few light brown flesh appearing on its body, some of it stitched up. It has two horns coming out of its head.

Strategy

• The Molten Demon can be a threat when it first appears, as many can be summoned by the Molten Necromancer if it is not killed quickly.
  • The Molten Necromancer can be killed quickly, preventing it from summoning any Molten Demons.
  • Towers like the Golden Cowboy, Militant, Military Base or Crook Boss can be effective against this.
  • High DPS towers like the Minigunner and Accelerator can be prepared specifically for this enemy if early game towers are not enough, using the Farm to get them as they may be quite expensive.
  • Crowd control towers, like the Mortar, Rocketeer or Electroshocker can be quite useful as they can damage all the Molten Demons as well as the Molten Necromancer at once.
• The Molten Demons summoned by the Molten Necromancer can sometimes spawn with the Hidden attribute. As such, some towers with hidden detection are needed.
  • Most of the towers listed above have hidden detection and thus can bypass this.
  • If you do not have much hidden detection, you can use the UAV or a Level 4+ Ace Pilot to give hidden detection.
• Do note that you do not earn any money from the Molten Demon as it is a summoned enemy.
