Description

The Frost Hunter was an enemy that appeared in the Operation I.C.E Event. Currently, it can only appear in Sandbox mode. It has a decent amount of health and walks at a decent speed. It has one ability, Javelin Throw, which makes it aim at a tower or unit, later throwing a javelin at them. This either stuns the tower for 2 seconds or deals 150 damage to the unit.

Logbook Description

"Frost Hunters are some of the most ferocious units in the Frost Spirit’s army. Talented spear throwers, they ruthlessly hunt down their targets, strategizing in groups to corner them before making their move. The sharp spikes on their shoulder pad are used to charge their enemies in battle. They throw javelins at towers and units."

Appearance

The Frost Hunter is an entity with blue skin. It is a warrior which wears a grey and blue helmet, chestplate, shoes and leg padding. It also wears a brown glove on its left arm, a blue ice shoulder-pad on its left arm and a blue cape with ice on the edges. It wields a blue javelin made entirely out of ice, which it throws at towers to stun them and at units to damage them.

Event Strategy

As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in Outpost 32 is listed instead.

  • Stun immune towers like the Ranger, Pursuit and Gatling Gun can be effective against this, as they are immune to its stun.
    • High DPS towers without stun immunity, like the Accelerator and Golden Minigunner can also be used against the Frost Hunter, though they will be stunned quite often by them.
  • Crowd control towers like the Golden Pyromancer or Electroshocker can be used to deal damage to hordes of the Frost Hunters, while also acting as a distraction for Frost Hunters to attack instead of the main DPS towers.
