Triangle

The triangle^[1] is an object that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a type of floating object that grants power-ups to the player when touched.

Description

Triangles appear as formations made up of two, three or four triangles. Each triangle has a solid color interior and white bezels.

Overview

In Sonic Labyrinth, triangles are found around each of the four Zone in the game, where they served as the game's equivalent of Item Boxes. A triangle can bestow Sonic with a certain power-up whenever he walks or spins over it. However, the triangles shift through differently colored formations in fixed intervals, and the formation they have when Sonic touches them determines which power-up they grant. The power-ups given to Sonic by the triangles game are as follows:
