The Mukaka[1] (ムカカ[2]?) is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are mass produced, centipede-based Badniks created by Dr. Eggman.
Appearance
The Mukakas are based on centipedes. Each Mukaka is colored orange, has two cartoony eyes, and two spikes on their sides.
Overview
In Sonic Labyrinth, the Mukakas appear exclusively as enemies in Labyrinth of the Factory 3-1 and 3-3. In gameplay, there are three Mukakas that follow each other around and dash around the board erratically. This makes it difficult to avoid them, but they can be easily destroyed by a Spin Dash, and if done correctly, the rebound will destroy all three Mukakas at once. There is a specific Mukaka in Labyrinth of the Factory 3-1 that guards a key, thus it necessary to destroy it to make progress in the level.
Powers and abilities
The Mukakas are able to move around very quickly, and are always found in groups, making these Badniks difficult to avoid.
