The Yadokaka[1] (ヤドカカ[2]?) is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, hermit crab-based Badnik created by Dr. Eggman.
Appearance
The Yadokaka is based on the hermit crab. They have a blue shell, a gray body, multiple gray-colored legs, and a pair of cartoony eyes.
Overview
In Sonic Labyrinth, the Yadokaka appears only in Labyrinth of the Sea 2-2. In gameplay, the Yadokaka will mindlessly crawl towards two specific spots on the board back and forth. When it turns around, it will curl into its shell before doing so, making it invulnerable for a little while. They can be only destroyed when they aren't hiding in their shells with a Spin Dash.
Powers and abilities
The Yadokakas have a large blue shell that they use to protect themselves. However, they only use it when they are about to turn around, making them vulnerable all the same.
