Blaze Chao

Blaze Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Hero Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Blaze Chao have lavender pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. Unlike most Chao, Blaze Chao's heads form two points at the sides much like Blaze the Cat's head. On their foreheads they also have a red inset jewel. They also have large white eyes with black sclera, no noses, a small, upturned triangular mouth, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. On the top of their head they have two small bunches akin to Blaze's ponytail. Blaze Chao also feature small, triangular ears on top of their heads. Their lavender bodies ombré into white on the front, and their feet are colored dark purple and magenta. They also have a floating red halo. Blaze Chao have long, cat-like tails and feature a small set of white and yellow wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Blaze Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity. They can be obtained by being bought at the race shop for 400 Race Tickets (3 February 2024 - 2 March 2024).

In gameplay, Blaze Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Blaze Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb, grant additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring, and will add a +2 luck multiplier. The player can as well level up Blaze Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Blaze Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Blaze Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Blaze Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Blaze Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with. They also add a luck effect to the user, allowing them to obtain rare items more easily.
