Toxic

Toxic is Poison-type move introduced in Generation I. It has been TM06 since Generation I. In Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!, it is available as TM27. Several Pokémon are able to learn the move.

Effect

In battle

Toxic poisons the target and worsens for each consecutive turn it is out. In a Double Battle, Toxic can target any Pokémon around the user. In a Triple Battle, Toxic can only target a Pokémon adjacent to the user. Toxic has no effect on Poison and Steel-type Pokémon, as well as Pokémon with Immunity. It can affect Pokémon using Dig, unlike most moves.

Toxic has an accuracy of 90, but prior to Generation V, it is 85.

Since Generation VI, Toxic never misses if used by a Poison-type Pokémon.
