Rock Climb is Normal-type move introduced in Generation IV. It is HM08 in Pokémon Diamond Version and Pokémon Pearl Version and Pokémon Platinum Version, later changed to TM100 in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl.
Effect
In battle
Rock Climb is a physical move with a twenty percent chance of confusing the opponent.
Outside battle

In the Generation IV games, a Pokémon can use Rock Climb as a field move at a rocky wall to move itself and the player to the top of the wall, provided that the player has the Icicle Badge in the Sinnoh games and the Earth Badge in Pokémon HeartGold Version and Pokémon SoulSilver Version.
In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, Rock Climb is usable from the Hidden Moves app of the Pokétch instead.
