Fire Pledge (Japanese: ほのおのちかい, Hepburn: Fire Oath) is a Fire-type move introduced in Generation V.

BWB2W2 | A column of fire hits opposing Pokémon. When used with its Grass equivalent, its damage increases into a vast sea of fire. |
XYORAS | A column of fire hits opposing Pokémon. When used with its grass equivalent, its damage increases and a vast sea of fire appears. |

A column of fire hits the target. When used with its grass equivalent, its power increases and a vast sea of fire appears. |
BDSP | This move can't be used. It's recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can't be remembered. |
SV | A column of fire hits the target. When used with its grass counterpart, this move's power is boosted, and a vast sea of fire appears. |
Effect
Fire Pledge inflicts damage. The user attacks by sending out a pillar of fire.
When combined with Water Pledge, it will create a rainbow which doubles the changes of moves having Secondary Effects for four turns.
When combined with Grass Pledge, it will damage the opponents by 1/8th of their total Hit Points for four turns. If the opponents are of the Fire-Type, they don't receive damage.

In Pokémon Black and White, a man in Driftveil City will teach Fire Pledge to any Fire-type First partner Pokémon and Fire type Elemental Monkey.
Trivia
- Fire pledge is so far the only pledge move that has been seen in the anime.
- Only respective type Elemental Monkey in addition to Fire-type Starters can learn it.
