The Birth Of Cure Lillian! (キュアリリアン、誕生！ Kyua Ririan, Tanjō!)? is the 19th episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure! and is the 987th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
Mayu worries about Yuki, who has left home and not come back. Near Pretty Holic, Yuki is watching over Mayu from afar when the same Garugaru as last time appears before her once again.

Synopsis
While trying to sleep, Mayu remembers all the times that Yuki would comfort her whenever she would get scared when she was younger. Yuki has now been missing for a while and Mayu has become worried about her. Meanwhile, Yuki sits on top of the house and promises to continue protecting Mayu, even if she hates her now.
The next day, Komugi, Iroha, and Satoru try looking for the Garugaru again, but there've been no leads. Komugi thinks she's failed as a dog, but Iroha reminds her that "even monkeys fall from trees", meaning even the most skilled will fail occasionally. Iroha gives more examples of animal sayings, leading Komugi to ask if there are any that pertain to dogs. Iroha replies that there's "even walking dogs hit sticks", meaning having sudden misfortune. She then asks for any about hamsters, and the closest they could come up with is "a cornered rat will bite a cat". While Satoru explains its meaning, the Garugaru hides in its tunnel when the cloaked wolf appears again and tells it to let its rage burn. He gives the Garugaru more power and commands it to take revenge on those who hurt him.
At Pretty Holic, Yuki still hasn't returned and Mayu is worried. Them, Sumire calls Mayu down to help her restock the new compacts she designed. Sumire feels Mayu's love for Yuki and that it brings smiles to anyone who owns one, and that happiness spreads to anyone who's seen one. Sadly, Mayu doesn't believe she has that power, until Sumire shows her a lillian bracelet she made for her when she was little. Mayu would make things to give away to others and would feel joy whenever she sees others being happy as well. Her generous spirit is like a thread that connects everyone, but Mayu still thinks that Yuki hates her after what happened. As she watches everyone enjoying their compacts, she still has doubts.
Komugi, Iroha, and Satoru continue looking for the Garugaru when they find Yuki hiding in a tree, but she ignores them. Iroha assumes she's watching over Mayu, but she still rebukes them. Iroha says she overheard her and Mayu's argument and Komugi knows Yuki cares for Mayu and it would more fun if they played together. Just then, the Garugaru appears again and the group takes their leave, but not before Iroha suggesting that Yuki and Mayu should talk. Mayu also notices the Garugaru's presence and goes look for Yuki again.
Komugi and Iroha find the Garugaru and transform, but it runs away again while that happens. Yuki also senses the Garugaru and transforms into Cure Nyammy. She finds it and prepares to fight against it again when Wonderful and Friendy arrive to stop her from hurting it. While they argue, Satoru arrives to let them know the Garugaru is acting strange, but it's too late. It fires a beam at the Cures that shrinks them, much to their shock.
While the Cures try to figure out what to do, the Garugaru knocks Wonderful and Friendy away and knocks slams Nyammy to the ground when she tries to attack it. Wonderful and Friendy eventually land on a nearby dog where Satoru finds them. Nyammy tries to hide from the Garugaru, but she sees Mayu looking for her and the Garugaru hears her. Nyammy tries to attack again, but it hits her with an acorn. Nyammy lands in front of Mayu and she picks her up when the Garugaru goes after her and fires more acorns at her, but she finds a place to hide.
While hiding, Mayu tells Nyammy how she would always be by her side to improve her mood and thanks her for always recuing her. Nyammy becomes emotional and says she should be telling Mayu the same thing when the Garugaru interrupts their talk and forces them to run away again. However, they are stopped by a dead end and the Garugaru prevents them from going any further. Nyammy begs Mayu to run away so she won't get hurt, but Mayu wants to stay by Nyammy's side forever and declares that she will protect her.
Suddenly, the Mirror Stone shines and the compact in Mayu's pocket glows and turns into a Shiny Cats Pact. Satoru and the other Cures arrive in time to see it. Mayu wonders if that means she really can become a Cure, and that she wants to protect Yuki as well, so she takes the pact, despite Nyammy reaching out to stop her. Using the Shiny Cats Pact, Mayu transforms into Cure Lillian!
Nyammy stares in disbelief over Mayu's transformation while Wonderful and Friendy are extremely happy. Lillian tries to convince the Garugaru not to fight, but it fires more acorns at her. She picks up Nyammy and gives her to Satoru to look after her and promises Nyammy she will do her best. When the Garugaru attacks again, Lillian gracefully dodges all of its acorn attacks. It then tries to shrink Lillian, but she gets out the way and it runs into a building.
The Garugaru gets back up to find there's a stick in its nose and it runs into the trees to stop the pain. Lillian tries to get it to stop before it hurts itself more, but it ignores her and starts climbing up another building. Once the Garugaru reaches the top, it loses its footing and starts falling. Luckily, Lillian uses Lillian Net to catch the Garugaru. She senses how alone and anxious the Garugaru is and empathizes with it. She pulls the stick out its face and hugs it, turning it back into the Kirarin Hamster. The Cures are glad to grow back to their original size, and Wonderful and Friendy send the Kirarin Hamster back to Niko Garden.
As the battle ends, Lillian looks over at Nyammy and the two de-transform. Yuki isn't sure what to say, but Komugi and Iroha try to help her speak honestly to Mayu. Yuki always wants to stay by Mayu's side, and Mayu takes her hand and promises her that they'll always be together. Yuki then starts crying as the two embrace, when Yuki turns back into a cat and Mayu holds her closely.
