Full Animal Smile (マルっとアニマルスマイル Marutto Animaru Sumairu)? is the 33rd episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure! and is the 1001st episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
At Iroha's house, her father Tsuyoshi has a lot of animals visiting him to get trimmed. Yuki and Mayu, then Satoru come to the house, and hear the story of how Tsuyoshi became a trimmer from Iroha's mother, Youko.

Synopsis
Tsuyoshi finishes grooming Witt and Inuzuka thanks him for taking care of him before leaving. As Tsuyoshi prepares to work on Yuki, Mayu overhears Komugi, who's been playing with the other dogs who were there for the dog run since this morning. The group arrives at the play area while Komugi rolls around in the grass with another dog named Moca, whom Tsuyoshi will trim later. Moca will be really dirty by that time, but Tsuyoshi still finds it to be rewarding and will work hard with a "full animal smile".
Later, Tsuyoshi checks if Mayu trimmed Yuki's claws correctly. He tells her she did a good job with them and files the claws to smooth them out more. Once Tsuyoshi finishes with them, Mayu thanks him and he replies that he'll answer any further questions again with a "full animal smile".
Back outside, Tsuyoshi calls out to Moca and Mayu notices he's speaking in a different voice. Iroha explains that's his "Smile Voice", a gentle, higher-pitched voice he uses when talking to dogs because deeper ones could make dogs think the speaker's angry. However, Moca still wants to play and her fur has grown too long for her owner to wash and brush. Tsuyoshi then has Moca play with Komugi for a while so he could become friends with her. As this happens, Mey Mey and Niko watch and wonder if Tsuyoshi will succeed.
While Tsuyoshi starts playing with Komugi and Moca too, Satoru and Daifuku arrive for the latter's claw check and is shocked when Iroha says he can wait in her room. Once they get to her room, Satoru gets rather flustered because it's his first time in Iroha's room and doesn't know what to do. He eventually snaps out of it and walks in, but Mayu could tell he's nervous, but he insists it's nothing. Then, Niko startles him and tells him to smile to relieve his tension. Yuki notices how her claws don't catch on to the carpet thanks to Tsuyoshi filing them and Satoru then asks Iroha how he became a trimmer, but Iroha has no idea. Youko and Mey Mey arrive with snacks and tea and Iroha asks her how Tsuyoshi became a trimmer, and Youko says that he worked really hard to become one.
Meanwhile, Tsuyoshi continues playing with Komugi and Moca while the other watch. Youko recalls how she first met Tsuyoshi at Kaihin Park's off-leash area, where he would come every day to help with his dream to become a trimmer. She also reveals she's the one who gave him the idea of speaking to dogs in a gentler voice so they won't get scared. He took Youko's advice and makes his face, heart, and voice all a full smile. It's then that Moca finally starts warming up to Tsuyoshi and the two become friends, meaning she's now ready for her trim.
Youko says Tsuyoshi became a trimmer because he would work his hardest to understand animals, and Mayu and Iroha finally understand what it all means. Youko adds that she then asked Tsuyoshi to join her in opening a salon and animal clinic, and Friendly Animal Hospital & Salon was opened. Komugi joins them after helping Tsuyoshi while finally starts trimming Moca. Meanwhile, Torame arrives at Animal Town with another Garugaru egg and notices all the dogs walking with leashes. He intends to free him as he corrupts the egg, which hates into a pig Gaogaon.
Komugi, Yuki, and Niko sense the Gaogaon's presence, and the Cures transform to look for it. Torame orders to Gaogaon to go on a rampage as the Cures arrive. They notice the Gaogaon knocking over trees and digging holes using its snout, and Satoru thinks it could either be a pig or a wild boar. The Gaogaon runs away and the Cures chase after it, begging it to stop. However, the Gaogaon doesn't listen and keeps destroying things all over town. Satoru soon catches up to the Cures and says since pigs love to play in the mud, they should lure it into a mud patch on the riverside. At first, they aren't sure how until Friendy remembers Tsuyoshi's "full animal smile" strategy. She suggests standing in front of the Gaogaon instead of chasing it, and the others agree to it.
The Cures then stand in the Gaogaon's way and Friendy starts using Tsuyoshi's techniques to get the Gaogaon's attention. Wonderful recognizes how he used the same actions on Moca and starts imitating her as well to lead the Gaogaon further away. Nyammy and Lillian attempt it next, but Nyammy doesn't use a "full animal smile" at first. Lillian reminds her of what she has to do and once she gets it right, the two lure the Gaogaon towards them. The Cures then continue to lead it to the riverside and they eventually find the mud patch. They start to jump and play around in it and successfully get the Gaogaon to join them. Once it jumps into the patch, the Cures change into their Diamond Ribbon Style forms and use Eternal Kizuna Shower to purify it, turning it back into a Niko Pig. Torame is angry that they freed the Gaogaon and retreats, while Nyammy and Lillian send the Niko Pig back to Niko Garden.
Once everyone returns to the salon, Moca's fur has been trimmed and her owner thanks Tsuyoshi for giving her her first trim. After the two leave, Tsuyoshi goes to have tea with Youko. Watching Tsuyoshi inspires Komugi and Yuki to ask their respective owners to brush them, while Satoru assumes Daifuku would like one as well. Niko watches over them happily as they prepare for the brushing.
