Nice To Meet You, Niko-sama! (はじめましてニコ様！ Hajimemashite Niko-sama!)? is the 29th episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure! and is the 997th episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
The egg finally cracks, and Niko returns. Komugi and the others return to Niko Garden together with Niko and learn about Gaou, the one who turned the animals into Garugarus.

Synopsis
Early one morning, Niko's egg starts glowing brightly. Komugi is awakened while all the other animals in the area sense something big is coming. Komugi continues to watch in shock as the egg starts to shake and eventually it starts to hatch. She quickly wakes Iroha up and the two watch as more cracks form in the egg. The group meets up at Iroha's house and Mey Mey joins them once he learns about Niko's egg. The egg then glows extremely brightly and levitates. As this happens, the mysterious wolf at Mount Toboe's shrine takes notice of Niko's impending return.
The group is fascinated watching the egg hatching as it shoots more light into the air and creates a small explosion. Then, Niko finally emerges from the egg and makes her grand return. Mey Mey is extremely emotional at the sight of Niko's rebirth, and the Cures marvel at her presence as they greet her. An amazed Satoru wonders if Niko's a unicorn, and Mey Mey confirms that she's a Diamond Unicorn. Niko then prepares to address the group, and after a long waiting period, she introduces herself before striking an adorable pose.
Everybody introduces themselves to Niko and tell her how Mey Mey told them a lot about her. Niko scolds Mey Mey for revealing Niko Garden's existence to the humans, but Satoru and Iroha reveal to her that they found out on their own. Mey Mey also says that they're Pretty Cure and have been rescuing the missing Niko Animals from the Garugarus' influence, which Niko thanks them for. Iroha then attempts to befriend Niko while Komugi plays with her horn, and Mey Mey scolds them to show some respect.
Niko then prepares to return to Niko Garden and the others try to go through the Kiraniko Trunk. Niko becomes livid upon finding out Mey Mey gave them the spare trunk, but she calms down after Mey Mey explains how the Cures use it to return the animals. Niko then teleports herself to the garden with the others following suit. They arrive to see all the Niko and Kirarin Animals have gathered for Niko's return. She finally arrives and greets the animals, and the crowd happily cheers. Hearing the cheers makes Niko become happier, and the Cures watch as they all celebrate.
Niko and the others then go to the gazebo for a tea party and mentions how there are still some Niko Animals missing. Iroha then asks what happened to Niko Garden, and Niko explains that one day, a villain named Gaou, who once lead a wolf pack and has tremendous dark power, appeared and attacked it. One by one, he turned many of the animals into Garugarus. Niko tried to incapacitate them by sealing them inside eggs, but she wasn't strong enough as they just turned into black eggs.
Meanwhile, in Mount Toboe's shrine, Gaou is angered about what happened to his black beasts. Fueled by his anger, he revives two of his companions, Torame and Zakuro. The two turn into human form and Gaou commands them to find the rest of the Garugarus as well as the Cures. After some arguing over who he's referring to, Torame and Zakuro leave the shrine.
Once Torame and Zakuro find a Garugaru egg, Komugi and Yuki sense its presence, but it's more sinister than before. Mey Mey is reminded of when Niko Garden was attacked, and they return home to look for it. Dark clouds fill Animal Town's skies as the Cures find where it presence is coming from. Purple lights flash as Torame and Zakuro appear on a tree before assuming human form. Zakuro mentions Gaou's name, and Niko recognizes them as his companions. The two assume the Cures are Niko's friends and Torame takes the Garugaru egg he found and corrupts it, turning it into a more powerful monster: a Gaogaon.
After settling on the name "Gaogaon", Torame commands it to attack, and it quickly starts spinning around on a tree. Satoru confirms that the Gaogaon is a monkey. Komugi and Yuki change into their human forms, which intrigues Niko, and the Cures transform. After they finish, Torame asks why a dog like Komugi is hanging out with humans, but she finds it to be "wonderful" that they're all friends. Friendy says she doesn't want to fight Torame and Zakuro, but Zakuro finds her platitudes to be idiotic. The two of them explain that they as wolves used to live in Animal Town until they were all murdered by humans and became extinct. Zakuro announces angrily that it's the human's fault that they're all gone, shocking the Cures, especially Friendy, who takes their rejections to heart the most.
The Gaogaon attacks them again, and to their surprise, it multiplies, making them four Gaogaon for them to worry about. They prove to be stronger than the regular Garugaru, with them resisting both Friend Liberale and Amity Lumiere. Throughout the battle, Torame and Zakuro taunt the Cures to dishearten them, but they don't listen and still try and incapacitate the Gaogaon. However, the four Gaogaon strike the Cures hard and send them flying into the mountainside, forcing them to de-transform and for Komugi and Yuki to go directly back to their animal forms.
Torame and Zakuro continue to talk the Cures down, calling them weak and announcing they will be taking their territory back. The Gaogaon prepare to attack again and Satoru runs to the Cures' rescue, but Gaou howls, signaling that Torame and Zakuro must return. The two then leave, but not without ordering the Gaogaons to continue their rampage.
Once they all leave, a shaken Iroha is left wondering if they're the ones who are the enemy, as the wolves are finding any human to be evil because of what happened in the past. Iroha just wanted to befriend them, but now she's not even sure if she ever will. Niko watches over the defeated Cures as they take in everything they have learned.
