Mayu's First Sleepover (まゆ、はじめてのお泊り Mayu, Hajimete no Otomari)? is the 14th episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure! and is the 982nd episode of the Pretty Cure franchise overall.
Summary
Yuki isn't feeling well, so Mayu brings her to Iroha's house. Iroha suggests that she spend the night to keep watch over Yuki, but the next morning Komugi senses the presence of a Garugaru.

Synopsis
Mayu returns from school one day and notices Yuki isn't there again. She assumes Yuki has gone somewhere again, but she finds that Yuki hasn't eaten anything, and fears for the worst. Mayu looks around her room and finds a sick Yuki hiding under her bed. At Iroha's house, she's about to go on a walk with Komugi when Mayu rushes in and begs Youko to help Yuki.
While Youko checks up on Yuki, Mayu starts to cry and asks if she's okay. Youko thinks that Yuki is just exhausted and would need an IV and some rest. Mayu is relieved that Yuki will be fine, but is still shaken. Then, Iroha suggests and Mayu and Yuki should spend the night in case Yuki would need anything else. Mayu internally panics because she never slept over at someone else's house before. Yuki then touches Mayu's skirt, indicating that she's fine with Mayu staying over at Iroha's. Mayu accepts the invitation and thanks Iroha, who becomes excited for the sleepover.
While Iroha thinks of what food Mayu might like, she runs into Satoru and explains her situation. Satoru is glad that she and Mayu have become friends, but Daifuku senses that he's jealous. That night, Sumire drops Mayu off at Iroha's house and Mayu gets flustered watching her mother talking to Iroha's parents. After Mayu is able to feed Yuki, everyone goes to eat some dumplings that Tsuyoshi made. Komugi grows concerned about Yuki, and she walks back into her cat carrier to rest. Komugi then goes to sit on Mayu's lap, which annoys Yuki.
Later that night, Iroha and Mayu share a popsicle and later Mayu brushes Komugi. When Komugi acts strangely, Iroha explains how she can hear things from greater distances that humans can't hear. Once they get ready to sleep, Mayu tells Iroha that she had a good time. She initially felt uneasy because she had never gone to a sleepover before and she thanks Iroha for having her over.
After Mayu promises she'll come over again in the future, a Garugaru egg gets ready to hatch. Komugi senses it and wakes Iroha up, thankfully not waking Mayu up as well, and prepare to leave so they can rescue it while everyone is asleep. They attempt to sneak out, but the Garugaru's crow awakens everybody. Mayu wakes up as well and Komugi and Iroha freak out. While Iroha tries to come up with an excuse as to why she's leaving, Komugi shouts at her about the Garugaru. Mayu is shocked to learn that Komugi could talk and Iroha tries to cover it up again, but she inadvertently mentions the Pretty Cure. Iroha apologizes and promises to explain everything once she gets back, but Mayu decides to follow her out of worry. Yuki also becomes worried for Mayu, but she assures her she won't be long.
The Cures reach the Garugaru, but it's already out of control. Mayu arrives and keeps her distance, and Satoru is shocked to see her there too. Mayu is also flabbergasted to see Komugi turn into her human form. The Cures transform and Mayu recognizes them as the same girls who were with Nyammy during the last Garugaru attack. While the Cures try to calm it down, Satoru and Mayu hide behind the bushes and he explains to Mayu about everything that had been going on and how Komugi and Iroha are Pretty Cures. He also says that them being Cures was born out of a desire to protect the ones they love and rescue innocent animals, and Mayu is amazed.
As the battle continues, the Garugaru attacks with loud sound waves that disorient Wonderful because of her strong hearing. The Cures try to force its beak shut, but it still sends them flying with more sound waves. Mayu becomes even more worried and despite Satoru's protests, she rushes into the battlefield to see if the Cures are fine. She says Satoru told her everything about them and even though she's powerless, she stills wants to help them. However, the Cures can't get near the Garugaru because of its sound waves. Then, Satoru tells Friendy to use her Ribbon Barrier to reflect it, and it works. Both Cures then use their respective shields to reflect the sound waves back at the Garugaru and use Friend Liberale to purify it. It turns back into a Niko Rooster and they send it back to the Niko Garden.
After the battle, Mayu apologizes for following them and compliments on how cool they are. The Cures thanks Mayu for helping them and Komugi even suggests that Mayu should be a Cure too. Mayu also promises not to reveal their secret and to help them however she can, and the Cures are glad that they have a new friend. They return to Iroha's house and Komugi brings up how Cure Nyammy never showed up. No one knows who Nyammy is, but Yuki glares angrily at Komugi and Iroha.
