Description

The Hunter is a starter tower that can be purchased from the store for Coin 300. It could have also been obtained from a now expired code.

The Hunter has a long-range and deals a decent amount of damage, however has a slow firerate. Uniquely, it requires time to aim before it can start attacking. It can attack flying enemies at Level 0, and gains hidden detection at Level 2. Therefore, the Hunter is a fairly decent early to mid-game tower but is overshadowed by better towers in late-game.

The Hunter has a placement limit of twelve per player.

Strategy

  • Place the Hunter where it could maximize its range.
  • The Hunter has relatively cheap hidden detection. Placing multiple Level 2 Hunters can be effective against the Hidden or Shadow.
  • You might want to use the Commander to decrease the Hunter's slow firerate.
  • The Hunter can be effective at dealing with flying enemies, such as the Balloon and Balloon Kid.

Trivia

  • The original name for the Hunter was going to be called Clout God and it had a different design.
    • The name and design were changed as some people felt it was too similar to the Tweeter from Tower Battles.
    • The first version of the Blue skin for the Hunter looks similar to the original design.
  • The Hunter is the first tower that is not a cliff or air-based tower which can detect flying enemies.
