Description
Mark III is the third vehicle that spawns from the Mecha Base. It spawns when the Mecha Base is at Level 3. As with other units, it starts from the end of the map path and moves towards the entrance of the map. The Mark III has a spawnrate of 40 seconds.
Mark III can attack enemies with its turret and rocket launcher.
Appearance
Mark III is a tall light blue mechanized walker. It has neon blue parts to symbolise futurism. It has long mechanized legs and its operator sits at the top of the walker. The operator can shoot rockets from its launcher and bullets from its dual turrets. Bullets are belt-fed into the turrets. A windscreen protects the operator. The operator itself has tan skin, its torso and legs are black, and it wore white goggles.
Strategy
- Mark III can easily wipe out hordes of enemies due to its high DPS and rocket launcher.
- On maps with multiple paths, only one Mark III will spawn per Level 3 Mecha Base. It will go down a random path.
- Mark III can deal full collision damage to enemies with defense, like the Giant Boss.
- However, Mark III's ranged damage is still affected by enemies with defense.
- As with other units, the firerate and range of Mark III cannot be boosted by the Commander or DJ Booth, respectively.
- Mark III can cope well against enemies that deal damage to units with their abilities due to its high health. However, Mark III is completely destroyed if the Void Reaver performs its Void Stomp attack.
- The Mark III can be very effective against hidden enemies, as it has hidden detection and high DPS.
- However, the Mark III cannot detect flying enemies. It also cannot collide with ghost enemies.
Trivia
- Mark III replaced the XR700, which existed before Hardcore Testing BETA.
- Mark III was made exclusive in Overhaul Update as it is only used to test units in Hardcore Testing BETA.
- The goggles worn by the operator inside Mark III are a re-textured version of the Laser Spec Special Forces Goggles accessory from the Roblox catalog.
