A Manillo Shop is a specialty shop run by a member of the Manillo tribe. They are a recurring gameplay element throughout the Breath of Fire fishing mini-game . Many exclusive items can be gained through frequenting them. In some games, individuals from the Manillo tribe also run establishments other than Manillo Shops, such as inns or standard items shops.

Manillo Shops are accessed when the player catches a Manillo with a piece of Gold while fishing. Once caught, the Manillo will appear on the world map outside of the fishing mini-game and their shop may be accessed by talking to them. They typically offer expensive but powerful gear for the area. Once the player leaves the area, however, the Manillo will disappear and have to be caught again in order to revisit the shop. There are eight Manillo shops in all.
Note: This fishing spot may only activate after leaving a battle from south of the ramp/cliff leading to Coursair.

In addition, for each item purchased you will gain points, which the blue Manillo will stamp you on a card. Once a Manillo Card is full of stamps, you can exchange it for very rare items, which all blue Manillo offer. You can hold a maximum of 99 cards.
