Lyta is a character in Breath of Fire IV. She serves as one of the caretakers at the Synesta Orphanage and is one of the Masters that player characters can study under.
Role in Breath of Fire IV
There were many causalities during the war between Ludia and the Fou Empire, and Synesta was particularly hard it. The deceased left many children behind and Lyta and the other members of her sisterhood of nuns took it upon themselves to care for them. While searching for Princess Elina, the party investigates Synesta, her last known location. After they help gather up the orphans, including the mischievous Chino, for their evening meal, Lyta describes how Elina visited the town on a goodwill mission and gave the orphanage a generous donation of toys and clothes. While she is unaware of Elina's present whereabouts, however, able to give some information on Marlok, whom Chino says approached Elina as she was leaving town.
Later in the game, Lyta becomes available as a master. In order to apprentice under her, you must first know the skill Ward, which is obtained from Gyosil whenever he is a party member's current master.
