Cawer is a boss enemy that appears in Breath of Fire III.

Story

Cawer is one of the opponents you must face during the Contest of Champions held in Genmel. Cawer mostly uses magic as this offense and can also use healing spells. He can be faced with either Ryu, Nina, Momo, or Peco. Nina is a particularly good option to go against him, as her spells will bypass his own Protect spell. If she has learned Iceblast, she can defeat Cawer in roughly 4 casts.

Strategy

Cawer is easy to defeat with any of your party members, even when he heals or uses Protect or Speed. Heal when necessary due to Frost and Cyclone and deal damage until he's defeated.
