Mason is a non-playable character who appears in Breath of Fire III.
Role in Breath of Fire III
Ryu and Nina escape from Genmel to Mt. Boumore and discover Mason when they arrive at its peak. He is sympathetic to their pleas for help, and allows them stay the night in the cable-car station. However, in the morning they discover that Mason's goodwill was merely a front, in reality, he has sold them out to Balio and Sunder. Ryu and Nina then make their escape using the cable car.
