Mt. Myrneg is a location that appears in Breath of Fire III. It connects the Yraall Region to Central Wyndia via Yraall Road.
Story
During their adventures together, Teepo had told his friends, Ryu and Rei, that the three of them would someday leave McNeil Village together and head to Wyndia. After Teepo and Rei's presumed deaths, Ryu decides to travel to to Wyndia, in hopes of finding that they are actually still alive.
A friendly Tar Man stands near the southern base of the mountain. It offers to explain enemy weaknesses, revealing that Eye Goos are weak to Blind, the Nut enemies are weak to fire, and in exchange for the information, asks that Ryu not exploit its species' weakness to ice.
When Ryu finally reaches the top of the mountain, he sees Sunder urinating off the edge. Frightened, Ryu tries to stealthily walk past, but fails as Sunder finishes and sees him. Confronted with someone he thought dead, Sunder panics, screaming about a "GHOST!" and flees. Balio approaches and is led over to Ryu by his brother, who hides behind a nearby tree. Balio is amazed at Ryu's survival. While Balio contemplates how Ryu survived, Sunder continues to wail in fear, calling Ryu a "Vampire" and a "Zombie" before eventually stabbing Ryu in the back. Ryu collapses and Balio and Sunder laugh victoriously.
Their celebrations are cut short by the sound of a heartbeat. To their surprise, the sword is forced out of Ryu's back as he transforms into a green dragon Whelp. Sunder is initially frightened, but Balio, sees it as an opportunity to make money, and the two decide to smuggle Ryu to Wyndia and sell him there.

- 200z - Sitting out on a bluff on the western side of the mountain, along the path upwards from near the Tar Man
- Protein - Behind the trees at the far eastern corner
- Bat Amulet - In a chest past a narrow passage along the east side of the mountain, north of the Protein
