Wynn is a non-playable character who appears in Breath of Fire III. She is one of the masters that player characters can study under.
Role in Breath of Fire III
Wynn is one of a "gang" of youths in Wyndia who like to play Hide-and-Seek. When Ryu first encounters them in Wyndia they have information on someone who could be Teepo, but will only tell you after you play a game with them. After you find all four, Bais tells you this person went running towards Eygnock Road.
When you return to Wyndia with Ryu as an adolescent, the gang offer themselves to you as masters if you beat them at Hide-and-seek again. This time instead of hiding in Wyndia, they spread all over the continent.
As a Master
To unlock Wynn and the rest of the gang as masters you must return to Wyndia as an adolescent and agree to play Hide-and-Seek again. After finding all of the gang members, they become available as masters. Wynn hides in Junk Town at base level in the back of the single stone building (to the left of the guildmaster's quarters) within the Urkan Region.
Like Bais, Wynn gives you a new battle formation rather than abilities. The Refuge Form allows your characters to regenerate health every turn. Sadly, this ends up being just 1 HP per turn, which is negligible by the time it's available to you. In this formation the lead character is more likely to be targeted, unlike the Normal Form. Compared to formations like Chain Form or Power Form which give significant stat boosts, Refuge is typically not as practical.
