Description

v1.9.0 is the sixtieth update to be released on Tower Defense Simulator, on the 28th of October 2023.

This update was also given the name Lunar Overture Update, as it added the Lunar Overture Event.

  • Reworked tower debuff system.
    • Enemies stunned by the Warden and Electroshocker now slow down before fully stopping.
    • Burning enemies can no longer be frozen.
    • Frozen enemies can be thawed by burn.
    • Fixed Pyromancer's and Golden Pyromancer's burn particles not being visible on enemies.
    • Fixed Pyromancer's and Golden Pyromancer's burn time being shorter when it had a tick faster than 1.

Miscellaneous

  • Overhauled dialogue systems.
    • Characters are now animated models instead of static images.
    • Only active in the Lunar Overture Event.
  • Matchmaking statues now display Level requirements if you do not meet them.
  • Matchmaking statue characters can now darken.
  • The "Return to Lobby" button now sends you back to the lobby you came from, which includes private servers.
  • Upon joining a match, you no longer start with starting cash until mode vote ended.
  • There is now a 15 second intermission between the mode vote and match starting.
  • Improved player avatar scaling.
  • Emote sound setting now changes the volume of all emote sounds, instead of just global sounds.
  • Developers now have a purple background on the leaderboards instead of the usual black.
  • New Rewards button icon.
  • Hidden enemies now have wavering transparency.
