Description
v1.8.0 is the fifty-sixth update to be released on Tower Defense Simulator, on the 9th of June 2023.
This update was also given the name Community Maps Update, as it added community maps.
This version encompasses four updates, the main v1.8.0 Update (released 9 June 2023) and three minor updates, the v1.8.0a (released 15 June 2023), v1.8.0b (released 16 June 2023) and v1.8.0c (released on the same day as v1.8.0b, 16 June 2023).

Changes & Bugfixes
- The towers on the triumph screen are now the towers you have in your loadout.
- Changed the gamepass store tab icon.
- In private servers, all regular and special elevators no longer have maps. Instead, they teleport you to a private intermission lobby, which includes additional maps.
- The Glitchy Nametag is now given to players who have beaten the legacy Hidden Wave.
- The Rainbow Nametag is now given through the Gift Box.
- Partially fixed the Daily Skin Store mostly only having Cold Front Skincrate skins on sale for most of the month. Now, Cold Front Skincrate skins have an increased chance of appearing there between the 14th and 21st of each month.
- Fixed the Elf Camp gamepass appearing in the store despite it being taken offsale.
- Fixed the v1.7.5 update log using incorrect images.
- In v1.8.0a:
- Birthday modifier is now active on all maps.
- In v1.8.0b:
- Birthday modifier is now disabled on all maps.
- In v1.8.0c:
- Private servers changed.
- The elevator change pop-up now has an option "Do not show again", which prevents it from appearing every time you join a private server.
- Community maps can now appear without overriding maps.
- Players can now override maps without having the VIP gamepass.
- Players can override more than one map.
- Overriding maps now always starts a 25 second timer.
- Players can veto maps more than once.
- Vetoing now always starts a 25 second timer.
