Skill icon for Wild Rush.

When performing the Wild Rush, Sonic backs away and starts zigzagging everywhere, progressively heading towards the enemy before striking, akin to a lightning bolt.

In the gameplay of Sonic Frontiers, the Wild Rush serves as an unlockable Skill for Sonic purchased from the Skills menu for ten Skill Points. The Skill itself can also be used by Super Sonic during the Titan battles. It can be activated by pressing /L1/ or /R1/, then immediately /Square/. The player is also able to cancel out of Wild Rush by simply performing a Dodge.

Overview

The Wild Rush is an attack that also helps Sonic Dodge enemy attacks then go back on the offensive. It does not use a charge meter and performs similarly against Titans as Super Sonic. It is difficult to pull off and is easier with the Recovery Smash skill.

Trivia

  • Before the release of Sonic Frontiers, it was initially known as "Wild Crash".[3] It is unknown if the name was misnamed or if it was an early name.

Notes

  1. During his huge attack against Supreme, Super Sonic Cyber performs what it seems to be a move similar to Wild Rush.
