The tadpole^[2] (オタマジャクシ^[3], otamajakushi^?) is an animal that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a larva that can be caught during the Fishing Spot minigame.

Description

Based on the real life species of the same name, the tadpole is a small brown frog larva with a long tail, similar to that of an eel's, that has a reddish tip.

Overview

In Sonic Frontiers, the tadpole is one of many collectable animals to be earned in Fishing Spot minigame hosted by Big the Cat. When catching one, a tadpole is worth six Treasure Tokens.
