Target sphere

The target sphere is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a blue sphere used to make blue Rings disappear during some Challenges.

Description

Target spheres are blue spheres, about the height of Sonic, which are filled by dark blue details, alongside cyan lines on the top and bottom of the object.

Overview

In Sonic Frontiers, target spheres can be found only as part of some of the Challenges. In order to spawn them, the player has to use Cyloop around a rocky base structure.

After the target sphere was spawned, the respective Challenge will start. A number of blue rings, ranging from 1 to 7, will spawn as well. In order to push the sphere through the rings, the player will have to either use the Homing Attack on them, or jump into them. The Target sphere will spawn infinitely until the Challenge is completed, or the timer runs out. If the latter happens, the player has to use Cyloop around the rocky base structure again and respawn the sphere.
