Dark Shot

The Dark Shot^[1] (ブラックショット, Burakku Shotto^?, lit. "Black Shot") is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. In Sonic Frontiers, it is used in the Hacking missions and the final fight against The End. It is the dark counterpart of the Light Shot.

Description

The Dark Shot is a black bullet of energy, covered with a red glowing outline, that can be used to destroy black particles with a red outline. Attempting to use it on white particles will simply pass through them.

Overview

In Sonic Frontiers, the Dark Shot is used alongside the Light Shot by the small triangular ship in the Hacking Missions. It is also used by Supreme via Sage in the fight against The End in the original climax of the game. The player can perform it by pressing //. Although not told in-game, the player can also press either // or // to perform it.
