Multi-lock

The Multi-lock^[1] (マルチロックオン^[2], Maruchi rokku on^?, lit. "Multi lock on") is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a multi lock-on attack used by Amy Rose.

Description

When using the Multi-lock, the player will touch a target, with a heart popping out. Amy then raises her hands up with joy while the target explodes.

Because of the nature of it being a rapid-fire multi-hitting Homing Attack variant, it can be described as akin to the Light Speed Attack or the Focused Homing Attack.

Overview

In Sonic Frontiers, the Multi-lock is one of Amy's Skills in The Final Horizon. The player must hold // to lock-on to a target, then release to start the attack. The player is able to lock-on to five targets at maximum.

When holding the button in midair, time will slow down. This will lead to the player, as well as their surrounding, to move slowly. Once they touch the floor again, time reverts at normal speed.

The player would need to have ten Skill Points in stock, as Amy herself, in order to be able to unlock it.
